Bridging Strategy and Creativity: Turning Scrolls into Social Impact

I graduated with a degree in Business Management in 2020, right at the peak of lockdown when all of us were scrolling to no end. While the timing was chaotic, it gave me a rare opportunity to pause, reflect, and figure out what I actually wanted to pursue. That reflection led me into the world of social media marketing at a B2B tech solutions company, where I got my first taste of building digital narratives.

Soon after, I stumbled into my first agency role at a WPP agency in India, and it became my training ground for everything social. I cut my teeth on crafting content calendars, creating platform-native campaigns, and slowly but surely moved into strategy - conceptualising pitches, presenting ideas, and what it's like to collaborate with other creatives on high stake brands.I discovered how much I enjoyed building data-driven solutions that were as creative as they were effective

The Plot Twist

After a few years of agency life, I felt the itch to explore something more personal. I moved countries, began my Master’s in Advertising and Marketing Communications, and started freelancing - all in 2024. This new chapter gave me space to experiment, build, and shape my own approach to digital strategy - blending agency rigour with personal creative expression. Freelancing wasn’t just a way to work, it became the way I truly found my creative voice.

The Notch Chapter

That momentum led me to Notch, where I now work as a freelance Social Media Ads Specialist and Content Strategist. I lead the strategy behind paid social ad concepts, analysing performance data, optimising creative, and making sure our content does more than look good - it drives results.

From testing visual directions to refining copy hooks and aligning campaigns with broader brand goals, I live for the space where storytelling meets data and insights. Notch is the kind of team that makes big ideas better and lets you bring your whole creative self to the table. For someone who loves both the data and the design of social media, it’s the perfect creative playground.
